our last summer as independents, do you remember?

i have a 20 minute test tomorrow within an hour-long lecture for which i'm not prepared. The readings are pretty tedious, but not entirely uninteresting. I mean, it's interesting to dissect how the making-and-drinking of a cup of tea means so much to some and how different people attach different meanings to it. Where it starts to get confusing is when they say that;

Occupational form precedes developmental structure, but developmental structure then has impact on future occupational form. PLUS, developmental structure is affected by the meaning of the occupational form and purpose is needed so that developmental structure can advance to produce quality occupational performance. This Occupational Performance then impacts subsequent occupational forms and it, along with purpose, then adapts to best suit the developmental structure.

That's me paraphrasing, but still, that's the gist of it.

Occ Science remains the one subject i don't really get. Critical Enquiry's not a favourite subject as yet, but that's only cos it requires me being a hundred percent honest with myself and i can't handle the truth :) Enabling Occupation's pretty good fun and the tutes are truly helpful and Human Anatomy's good, just remembering the names and locations of muscles is reeeally difficult for someone as lazy as me. BUUUUT, got to dissect a kangaroo's shoulder the other day which was pretty amazing :) The smell and all that didn't get to me. The only thing that made it somewhat disturbing was the fact that there was still some fur on the arm and that weirded me out everso slightly.

Anywho, been having a ton of fun in the sun with the family, what with our picnics and apple-pickings and overeating. All a part of the Lee family experience ;) but really, it's nice knowing that though i have to behave properly and functionally everywhere else, i am still the baby of the family. i love it. It's also always good to know that when you're not feeling all together, there're people that close to you that make it all better.

photos up tomorrow when i have acess to super fast internet.
