you realise, life's too short too waste, too quick to survive

Wearing my "sunway sports team" shirt, shorts, my hair's ited up and hairbanded back. [I can afford to do that cos my skin's going through a good period :)]It all feels so gooooood :) Tidying up my room as well so this post is, in reality, gonna take upwards of an hour for me to type out.

So just got back from a week in Melbourne. It was the funnest thing, what with meeting Ijie's and Nic's insane bunch of friends. Insane's always a good thing :) Seriously though, how amazing ARE these people??

Flew off on Saturday morning, met up with the girls, then Shobs, VJ (hahaha, after a year of being in ausmat together, we are now aware of each others' existence) and Joyceee. I know if anything was going to convince Joyce to transfer to Melbourne, it would be Saturday, what with it feeling like we were basically back in AUSMAT and being so loud together-gether. STAY IN ADELAIDE WOMAN!! But really, it was great to get to meet up and i can't wait till there are more people in both Melbourne and Adelaide...not forgetting those in Canberra and Perth (ahem ahem) and we can make it all epic.

Sunday went out with the girls plus Li-Shen and Wen Ting to Brunswick St. which was pretty cool as well and who knew that we'd spend so much time just looking at things we were never going to buy. Or rather things i couldn't quite afford to buy. But the street had all these lil shops that sold pretty cool stuff, though now i've found a place in Adelaide that also sells those cutsy ice cream and cupcake lip balms. Plus, dinner was nic's inari. mmm.

I do realise i can't, or rather won't, keep listing out all the things i did from day to day cos hell, i can't be bothered.

Anyway, got to see Arj Barker at the townhall. The tickets were cheaper than the ones in Adelaide, and not only because i went on tightass Tuesday, though i think that day was made for someone like me, honestly. But it was an excellent show and anyone in need of a pick me up should DEFINITELY go for it. Or perhaps any other comedy show, really. GOt some stuff signed (WOOT!) with my name (WOOOOOT!). Such a fan girl thing to say, but ahhhh, whatever. Went for Stomp as well. I don't think i need to say how amazing and fun it was, honestly ;)

Spent pretty much the whole of Friday out; from dim sum to pubbing. Twas a day of many many Tan Tarts, horrible jokes (why did the dog die? the toilet fell on it!) dirty lil secrets, creepy lil leprechaun men and a dude wearing heels. Not only wearing them, but walking and running. The things guys can do sometimes.

I think i had a pretty tame Ssturday and dinner at the Korean-Chinese place with the chopsticks that had the instructions was so good.

1) Tuk under thurnb and held firmly.
2) Add second chocostick and hold it as you hold a pencil.
3) Hold first chopstik in original position move the second one up and down Now you can pik up anything.

And yes, Melbourne people, Fredo's is really good :) Is that how you spell it? Fredo? Freddo? And i will also agree that CS Is a really nice place to live, Frank Tate is a super nice play to study and that Max Brenner and San Churros are yummy.

Honestly, thanks so much Ijs for putting me up, Nic for Max Brenner, Shobs for San Churros (you insane woman!), the girls for being all nice, protective and stuff when there were weird leprechauns about, and everyone for the great great company.

Got back to Adelaide without having any rest the night before. Went on a 5-hour hike. Ugh. The view was at least pretty, plus tight jeans now fit beautifully ;) I highly recommend hikes up to fox creek, people...and then perhaps a walk to lobethal (which we didn't get to do).

Have completely lost my voice now though. Tis hilarious.
