you see how, in a moment, i forget how to be all you wanted

With all the work and exams coming up, my trips to the city have been becoming less and less frequent, ie. more staying at home, no more pointless trips around just to hunt down lil shopping spots. And that's got me thinking, for some reason, of THOSE music moments. You know the ones i'm talking about; the moments that for some reason you link to a moment in time, however unrelated they would be otherwise. Like listening to "Wild Horses" while buying a pack of chips on a dull monday afternoon.

Pretty much since i've been here, i've felt the absolute need for noise or sounds everywhere i go. If it's somewhere i can bring my laptop to play shows or music, i'll drag my laptop. Everywhere else, it's the ipod.

Work by Jimmy Eat World will forever be associated with standing on a crowded bus home after a long day at uni.

Falling Out of Reach instead is gonna be getting onto the early bus on a cold morning and going on the o-bahn from ttp to paradise.

Sparks is the image of the back Guy Berryman sitting on the BDO stage and playing the bass, as well as a morning bus ride.

Ryan Adams' version of Wonderwall reminds me of one of those countless times the aircon broke down in atrium 1 (cmon Ausmatians. what's our favourite thing about atrium 1? :)) and we were standing outside the room on a gloomy friday waiting for it to be fixed so we could start Physics.(Mr Pathma! :D)

Dylan's Mississippi reminds me of lying in bed late at night after Ausmat ended last year.

You Only Live Once=Dancing in the car in the Sunway carpark after ending college early in the day before driving off to the club to swim.

Milkshake
by Kelis reminds me of kammie leaning over and telling me his milkshake will bring all the boys to the yard and that they're better than mine.

There's a Kind of Hush, He Ain't Heavy (He's my Brother), Do you Want to Know a Secret, Country Road, Silence is Golden, Me and You and a Dog named Boo and all the songs from that one Beatles CD reminds me of trips to Ipoh and Penang and my parents singing along and telling my sister and i who sang what when we were kiddies.

Champagne Supernova obviously makes me think of graduation.

You know what i'm talking about. Those (mostly)horribly insignificant moments in life that only you can make significant. or rather that you have made significant for whatever reason of your own. any to share anyone? :)

and that's directed at...what, the 2 or so of you who read this. :)

"Champagne Supernova obviously makes me think of graduation."

y'know, i never listen to this song, cause i'm afraid that if I do, i might get weepy-eyed. and i don't deal well with depression.

but it reminds me of graduation too. (:

Yoga Tramp; thanks. and sorry, but may i know who you are?

Lana; Haha, it really does, don't it? And i seem to remember you handling depression really well, what with some poem about asphyxiation in form 5.. ;)

Che; you mean giggling like idiots in the car? and hotbug? :)

LOL ASPHYXIATION?

'breathing is a burden' don't necessarily mean asphyxiation! just how twisted do you think i am?
