and when you speak

Been SUCH a hectic couple of weeks and i finally get some respite. Like honestly can't think of too much that i have to get done anytime too soon besides that job that pays close to nothing, but that's all right. doesn't really take too much time, so i get by.

Did the presentation for Lifespan today and after a week or so of freaking out over the handout and panicking over what i should or shouldn't put into it, plus finding studies that started off so promisingly before they started contradicting themselves in the article, it went all right. It was "delightful" in fact. And Scott's right, we didn't do anything extraordinary, except perhaps present some arguments and alternatives which apparently displayed critical thinking. I don't know if the other two were intentionally making it that way, but i certainly wasn't. I was just trying to get by, so if i can be unconciously critical in my thinking, then so be it. I'm not gonna complain :) And in all honesty, just glad it's done with. The prospect of having to answer to Hugh's been horrible and daunting and i think we got off quite easy today, for some reason. Again, not gonna find me complaining.

So looking forward to resting up a bit tonight :) maybe i'll actually sleep normal hours, who knows?

and i honestly live with some adorable people :)
